about me
As a little boy I was always running behind dad holding his bags, carrying his equipment, setting it up. I hated it. i was too short though to stand behind the the tripod and too weak to hold the camera. Video camera that is, this was some time ago so you can imagine how heavy these camera were. Yup my dad was a videographer. Even though I was relegated to holding his gear, I was always watching and observing. How he smiled with each encounter he made, how he was always well prepared and ready for the next shot. I would always look forward to the weekend in hopes that I would get to film something and not have to hold bags, eventually it happened. I was hooked! I felt like the coolest kid in the world. We would travel all over New York and the tri-state area filming for clients. My mom now she's a florist. She would always take me to the market with her to pick out her orders. Would ask me to help her arrange flowers and help her decorate. I slowly started working with her instead of my dad. Not that I didn't enjoy filming weddings, concerts and parties, but she payed better. Sorry dad.
Years have past by, an adult now and i have returned to that feeling, that feeling of being the coolest kid in the world (a man now, but you get it). As a photographer, to create and make clients happy all in one is the best feeling. It helps ease all the pain from editing. So this is why my dad was always smiling. I love working with my clients helping them tell their story. Watching them cry when they see a picture of their son walking hand in hand with dad. Seeing their eyes light up, seeing their confidence being restored though my art. what joy! Let's work together, lets create art and emotion. lets have fun.
